I’m Seymour the Seagull and I make my home in the Greater Grand Lake St. Marys Region. There is so much to do and see here; you need to bring the whole family for fun and adventure.
Come and explore a fort; sit in a space capsule or atop an antique big wheeled bicycle, all at fun museums in the area.
Bring the family for a picnic at Grand Lake St. Marys. Did you know it is the largest lake in the state of Ohio? You can go swimming, fishing and boating on the lake or watch the bald eagles as they catch fish to feed their babies.
Bring your bicycle and take a spin along one of the many bike paths or walk and explore both the lakeside and the wooded paths in the state park. You can also hike along a canal towpath where mules used to pull canal boats long ago.
Do you enjoy sports? When you visit you can watch go-kart and sprint car racing, see bull riding action and enjoy a collegiate-league baseball game. Maybe the whole family can go bowling or how about a miniature golf outing, fun for the whole family.
There are many great places to eat and fun places to shop. The whole family will have a good time. So tell Mom and Dad & Grandpa and Grandma that your next vacation should be in The Greater Grand Lake St. Marys Region where smiles and memories are the best souvenirs.
