The Celina Flying Sportsmen will be holding
“A Gathering of Legends”
August 27 and 28 at Bungee Park (Hwy 29 west of Celina).

This event is open to all RC warbirds regardless of size and power source. Pilots must be Academy of Model Aviation members and have a current FAA registration number. There will be a $10 landing fee. A “Gathering of Legends” is sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics, one of the largest sporting organizations in the U.S., with over 160,000 members.
“Come to Bungee Park to see remarkable miniature warbirds fly,” says a spokesman for the local club. There is no admission charge and ample parking is available. Snack foods, soft drinks and sandwiches will be available for purchase at the food stand. A shaded seating area is available. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Flying will go on from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be an airshow from 12:00 to 1:00.
